PHOTOGRAPHY, ILLUSTRATION & DESIGN
This is a personal project combining 35mm film photographs and digital illustration, and pairing them with a literary quotation. Its purpose is to take something old that I once created, and make it new again. The photography was shot between 2010—2019, and the illustration, design and pairings were created in 2020. This project titled “Book Club for One”, was named as such as all books were read on my own, and each created a time of introspection. I aimed to pair each quotation with a photo that, to me, shared the same sentimentality.
